The KeepingWell NCL website includes a live online chat function, through which any staff member working in health and social care who loves and works in North Central London can talk directly to a trained Hub practitioner. These conversations are free, fast, and completely confidential.
Our online chat is open 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
You can use the chat function to engage in real-time conversation with a trained practitioner, who can support you in finding the most appropriate support. Our Hub practitioners can support you in navigating the website to find self-help materials, help you find the right support service for you, or offer you a confidential telephone conversation or assessment with a Hub clinician, if you want to talk your difficulties through further.
Simply type a message to start your chat, and one of our practitioners will respond to you right away.
You will find the chat box in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. This may look like a chat box with a space to write messages, or it may initially appear as a smaller icon showing a picture of one of our practitioners, who is currently online. Click the icon to open the chat box, and type your message to interact with the Hub practitioner.
Anything you discuss with the practitioner will remain confidential. We will not share any information with your organisation or employer, routinely add any information to your medical records, or discuss your care with your GP.
If during our conversation we become concerned for your safety or the safety of those around you, we will ask to contact you and complete an assessment of your wellbeing. We would then ask for you to share your personal information so we could make a note of the conversation on our secure database, and update your GP. We will always discuss this with you first.
If you send a message outside of our opening times, please ensure that you leave your name and contact information (email and/or telephone number), and one of our practitioners will get back to you when we open again.
