Resource description:

This resource will help you define the case for a positive health and wellbeing culture within your organisation.

The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the vital importance of supporting health and care workers’ mental and physical wellbeing. However, the response from health and care staff has also shown what can be achieved through working together. Multi-disciplinary teams have learned new skills and digital tools; innovations in care are being rapidly trialled, assessed and scaled up; and volunteers have mobilised to support staff.

This report by Public Policy Projects aims to help build momentum for positive reforms by laying out a series of policy recommendations across three key areas: getting in (recruitment and diversity); getting on (development and innovation); and getting through (wellbeing and retention).

It brings together ideas ranging from how the health and care system should plan for future workforce needs to how it should develop digital skills and support the mental wellbeing of its staff.
